Terms of use

Draft, last updated 19 October 2026. mnm.auction is in testing and these pages may change before launch.

mnm.auction is an unofficial, player-run trading board for Monsters & Memories. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Niche Worlds Cult. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

Gold and barter only

The game bans real-money trading. So does this site. Do not offer, ask for or mention cash, gift cards or any other real-world payment, here or in game for anything found here. Listings that do are removed and the account can be banned.

Trades happen in game

mnm.auction never holds items or gold and cannot reverse a trade. It only helps players find each other. You trade at your own risk, so check a player's reputation before you hand anything over, especially to a consignment seller.

Your account

Sign-in is through Discord. Never give anyone your game account details.
Display names are fixed once chosen. Do not pick one that impersonates another player, staff or the developers.
Your account is yours alone. Do not sell, buy, trade or share it, for gold or for real money.

Characters are not proof of identity

Characters on mnm.auction are a convenience for meeting in game to trade. Anyone can add any character name, and we can't check who plays it, so we make no guarantee that a character belongs to the account showing it. Confirm who you are dealing with in game before you hand anything over. Adding someone else's character to mislead other players breaks these terms.

Verified characters (coming later). We plan to let you prove a character is yours: the site gives you a one-time phrase, and you send it to one of our admins by private message in game. A verified character gets a badge, its name is reserved for you on that server, and other accounts listing the same name there are asked to verify too. Until then, no character on the site is verified.

Conduct and moderation

Be honest in listings, and do not post scams, harassment or anything illegal. Use the report button when you see a problem. Moderators may remove content and suspend or ban accounts that break these terms.

Working with the developers

If Niche Worlds Cult asks us to help investigate cheating, real-money trading or other abuse of their game, we will cooperate. We share only what we hold about the accounts involved (display names, characters, listings, suggestions and trade records) and act only on requests we can confirm come from them. See the privacy policy for what that covers.

Game data you contribute

Item, recipe and drop information you submit to the shared catalog is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0, like the community wiki it builds on. Only submit what you saw in game yourself, never material copied from sites that do not allow it.

No warranty

The site is run by volunteers and provided as it is. Listings and game data come from players and may be wrong or out of date.
